The Times has published an interesting RN obituary giving details of the life of a remarkable officer, Admiral Sir Simon Cassels, who had a unique career including being Port Admiral in Plymouth during the Falklands War and was the Sea lord who secretly landed British Army tanks in Northern Ireland and once unwittingly played host to a Great Train Robber.
