MANY ANI members will have already heard of Rear Admiral Chris Parry. He is both an authority on all things naval and a former Director of the Development, Concepts and Doctrine Centre (DCDC) at Shrivenham. As one of the RN’s more recent sailor-scholars, Parry’s often uncomfortable observations and warnings always warrant careful attention. This book is no exception.
