The third of the India’s Visakhapatnam-class destroyers, theImphal has commenced sea trials. This class is designed by the Navy’s Warship Design Bureau and constructed by Mazagon Dock Ltd. This program is an element of the national vision of ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Make in India’ initiative.
