On 27 August the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) completed the 27th edition of Exercise Eagle Indopura (XEI). It is the longest-running bilateral exercise undertaken by the Singapore Armed Forces. In XEI 2023 the participating ships operated in the waters off Batam to conduct a series of naval warfare and maritime security exercises.
