The following is the Chief of Navy’s message (August 2020) about Covid-19:
Dear Navy People and Families,
In June, I wrote to you all, stating that 2020 would be one of the most challenging years our Nation has faced, and that we would be required to continually adapt as the COVID-19 Pandemic evolves and the Government reacts. That position holds true, and today over 800 Navy People are deployed in support of State and Territory COVID-19 responses, with many more supporting the effort across the wider Navy, from their office, or working from home.
