It is no secret that there are jobs available in shipbuilding. Each week around 155 job vacancies across the sector are advertised. The Minister for Defence Industry stated recently that Australia’s Naval Shipbuilding enterprise will employ more than 15,000 people across the nation – and ensuring our naval shipbuilding industry continues to receive the skills and support needed to help them to grow is crucial to the success of our continuous naval shipbuilding plan.
