From 31 October to 1 November the fourth edition of biennial Goa Maritime Symposium was conducted by the Indian Navy at the Naval War College, Goa. Representatives from navies and maritime agencies from twelve Indian Ocean littoral countries took part. They were from Bangladesh, Comoros, Indonesia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Myanmar, Seychelles, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
