Vice Admiral Mead is awarded the US Legion of Merit.
On 8 February Vice Admiral Jonathan Mead, the inaugural Director-General of the Australian Submarine Agency was made a Commander of the US Legion of Merit in a ceremony in the Hall of Heroes in the Pentagon.
