US destroyer moves through Taiwan Strait

A U.S. destroyer moved through the Taiwan Strait on Wednesday, the Navy announced.

“The Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG-54) conducted a routine Taiwan Strait transit Feb. 24 (local time) in accordance with international law,” U.S. 7th Fleet said in a statement, US Naval Institute News reports.
