CONSTRUCTION of the Royal Navy’s new Type 26 frigates will begin next (northern) summer, the Defence Secretary confirmed. Michael Fallon (pictured) was at BAE’s Clyde yards in Govan to announce the long-awaited project which could provide work until 2034.
