In February 2020, the Chief of Navy, Vice Admiral Michael Noonan, formally commenced the HydroScheme Industry Partnership Program (HIPP). Through the HIPP, Defence’s intent is to engage industry to undertake the role of collection of hydrographic information to support the national hydrographic charting program.
