NZ Poseidon to monitor North Korea sanctions

On 29 April it was announced that a RNZF P-8A Poseidon aircraft has deployed to Japan to conduct monitoring of United Nations sanctions against North Korea. The four-week deployment will see the aircraft and crew carrying out airborne surveillance of the waters around East Asia to capture evidence of ship-to-ship transfers of resources used for the North Korean nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
