From Tigers to Kiwis: Mogami and the Road to the Deep North

When I advocated in ‘From Rocks to Tigers’ at the start of 2024, it was as a less credentialled commentator offering what seemed a personally compelling choice for SEA 3000.[1] That decision has now been made, the Mogami-class selected, and so I now offer another modest consideration: this time to suggest that New Zealand might also benefit from following that same pursuit.
