Indonesia–Singapore Maritime Security Cooperation: from ‘Reluctant’ to ‘Expansive’

Next year Indonesia and Singapore will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Indonesia-Singapore Coordinated Patrol (ISCP). Launched on 8 July 1992, the ISCP:

… is a collaborative effort by the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), the Singapore Police Coast Guard (PCG), the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) and the Indonesian National Police (POLRI) to coordinate patrols and deter sea robberies in the Singapore Strait and Philip Channel.[1]
