The Royal Australian Navy’s (RAN) upgraded Collins-class submarine HMAS Farncomb has been re-commissioned into service after successfully completing a full cycle docking. HMAS Farncomb is the first of the Collins class submarines to undergo the new and revised maintenance regime, under which the length of full cycle docking has been reduced from three to two years.
