Dear ANI member,
On behalf of the President and Council, I am pleased to advise that the ANI will have a small booth at the forthcoming Pacific 2017 Exposition, incorporating the Seapower Conference 2017, at the International Convention centre in Sydney – Darling Harbour.
We will need to man this booth over the course of the three days of the expo, 3-5 Oct, and also some assistance to ‘bump in’ – set up the booth on Mon 2 Oct.
We see this as a responsibility for all members of the ANI, as this represents an opportunity to increase our membership, and thus our funds to contribute to the ANI’s goals. In years gone by, we have had then Vice President CDRE RJ Griggs (now VCDF) manning the booth. I intend to contribute and I invite you to as well.
Volunteers are asked to contact ASLT Simon Telfer (Simon.Telfer@defence.gov.au) with preferred days/times and he will coordinate a watchbill to man the booth in one hour tricks, plus any volunteers to set up on 2 Oct.
