Between 7-8 August maritime units of Australia, Canada, the Philippines, and the United States conducted a Maritime Cooperative Activity (MCA) within the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Western Command Area of Responsibility within the Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone.
