From 2-20 October the Five Power Defence Agreement Exercise Bersama Lima 2023 (XBL23) was conducted in various land, sea, and air areas of peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, including the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of Malaysia in the South China Sea.
