On 10 March, Dr Tom Lewis received the Commodore Sam Bateman Book Prize trophy presented by Captain Simon Bateman in ceremony at the Australian Defence Force Academy. The Prize was awarded for Tom’s book Teddy Sheean, VC – A Selfless Act of Valour. Afterwards Tom gave the Commodore Sam Bateman Book Prize Lecture which will be published in the next edition of the Australian Naval Review.
