Australia’s nuclear security questioned

While Australia and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) have committed to providing the security of technology transfer through the AUKUS agreements, the RAN has not always delivered on its obligations in this area, Lieutenant Commander Sean West Money, Royal Australian Navy writes in the US Naval Institute’s “Proceedings”. The RAN needs to enhance its protective capabilities to ensure the most sensitive nuclear-propulsion technologies can be shared with Australia.
