On 25 August Admiral Daryl Caudle assumed the duties as the 34th Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) during an assumption of office ceremony, attended by over 300 Department of Defense (DoD) senior leaders, distinguished guests, including the RAN’s Chief of Navy Vice Admiral Mark Hammond, and families at the Washington Navy Yard.
