In 2002 in successive editions of the Journal of the Australian Naval Institute there were articles about sea command. The first, appearing in the Autumn 2002 edition, was about ship command, written by Commander Steve McCarey. He already had four sea commands by the time he wrote his article. Next week an article about Task Group command will be reproduced.
