Six new patrol boats will be built under a fast-tracked $350 million Defence project that aims tosecure hundreds of jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic, Defence Minister Linda Reynolds announced.
She said shipbuilder Austal will construct the additional Cape Class vessels for the Royal Australian Navy in her home state of Western Australia.
