In early 2023, the U.S. transferred 300,000 155mm artillery shells from its War Reserve Material stockpile in Israel to Ukraine. At the time, it was the only conflictwith heavy U.S. involvement. After Hamas’s Oct. 7 terrorist attack, that’s no longer true, Defense News reports.
