Synopsis:
As a consequence of the Force Structure Plan 2020, announced by Government earlier this year, the scope of the capability program managed by DG Submarines has been expanded and renamed Maritime Undersea Combat and Surveillance Program. As well as managing the Collins and Attack class submarines, one of the new investments included in this program will be an integrated undersea surveillance system. In his presentation, DG Submarines will outline the vision for how robotic and autonomous systems and artificial intelligence will influence the development and delivery of new capability in this exciting new program over the next 20 years
