The British Carrier Strike Group led by the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales conducted a passage exercise with units of the Indian Navy during 9-10 June in the Arabia Sea.
The multi-faceted naval exercise included unified control of integral helicopters, tactical manoeuvres, coordinated anti-submarine ops and professional exchange of officers. The Indian participants were the frigate ISN Tabar, a submarine and the P-8I Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft.
The Indian Navy said the exercise “underscores the deepening cooperation between the two navies and showcases shared commitment to maritime security and robust bilateral ties.”
