On 26 September it was announced that hundreds of Australian submariners and civilians will receive specialist nuclear skills through training from Royal Navy engineers. The was one of the key announcements following the meeting between the US and UK Defence and the Australian Deputy Prime Minister held at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich – the birthplace of RN’s nuclear training.
