Defence firm Plasan has signed a contract with BAE Systems to provide armour for the second batch of five Type 26 Frigates being built in Glasgow for the Royal Navy, UK Defence Journal reports.
Plasan is currently delivering composite armour for the first three of eight frigates as part of the earlier Batch 1 contract.
