Iranian training squadron visits India

On 26 February it was announced by the Indian Navy that the Iranian Navy’s training squadron, comprising the amphibious ship IRIS Lavan and the replenishment ship IRIS Boushehr, were conducting a goodwill and training visit to Mumbai from 25-28 February. The squadron, carrying about 220 officer cadets is on a training cruise in the Indian Ocean.
