Numerous media sources are reporting on 24 March 2022 the Ukraine successfully attacked and sunk a Russian Landing Ship Tank (LST), while it was berthed alongside the port of Berdiansk located on the Sea of Azov. Ukrainian forces appear to have employed a ballistic missile or possibly a drone in the attack that also damaged two other Russian amphibious vessels according to media reporting. The specific vessel sunk has not been confirmed but is believed to be either Orsk or Saratov.
