2021 Goldrick Seminar – Perspectives on Future Maritime Operations

The topic for the 2021 Goldrick Webinars is Perspectives on Future Maritime Operations.

HMA Ships Hobart and Brisbane sail through the Eastern Australian Exercise Area off the coast of New South Wales, Australia.

The webinar series examines how Australian maritime capabilities will evolve over the next 15 years. This timely webinar series will, among other things, discuss the RAN’s future maritime operations in the light of the recently announced AUKUS arrangements. The Seminar will include discussion, not only on operational concepts, but also examine the fundamental inputs to capability to support these operations.

The eight week Goldrick Webinar Program is held via Zoom conferencing and features expert speakers from Defence, Industry and academia. The webinars are both educational and intended to generate ideas for Navy’s consideration.

The event is held with the support of Thales Australia.
