The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey, Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force destroyer JS Akebono, the Royal Canadian Navy frigate HMCS Vancouver, the Royal Navy offshore patrol vessel HMS Spey and the Philippine Navy (PN) guided-missile frigate BRP Antonio Luna took part in the Maritime Training Activity (MTA) Sama Sama from 2-8 October.
