From the President,
As we commemorate the 110th anniversary of the landings at Gallipoli, I’d like to take this opportunity on behalf of the ANI to thank all those who have served, continue to serve and, importantly, all those who have loved and supported those who serve, for your ongoing commitment to the security and prosperity of our country.
Everyone of you has played a part in building the foundations of our Navy, Army and Air Force and allowed them to grow to be the vital national institutions that they are today. I don’t need to tell anyone of the challenges all countries are facing at the moment and it is more important than ever that we, as a nation, stand ready to protect all that we hold dear.
The service and, for many, the ultimate sacrifice paid across many conflicts, that our veterans and service men and women have paid has allowed Australia to be the country that it is today. To all, thank you.
