
On 29 April the Steel Cutting Ceremony was held for the Republic of Singapore Navy’s third (Vigilance) and fourth (Valiant) Victory class Multi-Role Combat Vessels (MRCVs).
The weapon fit for the 8,000 tonne MRCVs will include a 76mm gun, a 32-cell vertical launch system, for MICA and Aster 30 missiles, and a heliopter.
The ships will also function as motherships for unmanned aerial, surface and underwater systems for the conduct of naval operations.
The MRCV Victory, the first of class, was launched in October 2025, and the launch of MRCV Valour in the second half of 2026
