Islands’ lawfare on climate change

The call for a global response to the impact of climate change and especially the threats posed by sea-level rise for small island states has been constant and growing increasingly louder. This has been especially evident since 2021 in the political and diplomatic agenda pursued by Pacific and Caribbean small island states, the Lowy Institute’s Interpreter reports.
