With nearly all of Carrier Air Wing 8 is embarked aboard the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford for its initial deployment, the pilots and crews are focused on acclimating to the new technologies and capabilities of the first-in-class flattop in preparation for a longer deployment next year, the Navy Times reports.
