Maritime Operations in the Littoral

The final program cane downloaded here.

The littoral environment is the most complex and challenging operating environment for defence forces. This year’s Goldrick Seminar will discuss these complexities and the new capabilities that will equip the Navy and other elements of the Australian Defence Force.

This seminar is being held jointly with the Australian Centre for the Study of Armed Conflict and Society (University of New South Wales – Canberra). The venue will be the Australian Defence Force Academy.

Speakers (see below) have been drawn from senior levels of Defence, academia, industry and the media. The intention is for the proceedings to be both recorded and later published by ACSACS.

The event will also see the launch by the Chief of Navy of the book Bravo Zulu: Honours and Awards to Australian Naval People Volume 1, 1900-1974 by Ian Pfennigwerth.

Further details of the program will be available as speakers are confirmed.

Registration, which includes morning tea and lunch, is $30 for ANI Members and Students and $60 for non-ANI members. Non-members can join the ANI and attend the seminar for $100.
